How many times in a day do you get on and off your quad to open and close the gate to access the next field of stock? What if you had time saving gates?
Imagine being able to drive over the gate and it springs up behind you to form a closed gate strong enough to hold sheep and cattle in by which time you are half way over the field tending to your stock.
On average it takes1minute to get off and on your quad to access the stock, with this gate it takes less than 10 sec.
You can do this with our drive over gates.
We have 2 sizes of drive over gates.
First a 2m width which would allow quad bikes and utility vehicles through, and secondly a 2.4m width.
Both stand at 1.25m high which allow the quad or utility to pull a trailer also the wider would allow pickups, Land Rovers and other 4 x4 vehicles through.
They are both designed to carry the appropriate machinery over but NOT a tractor. There is a weight limit of 2.5 tonnes.
Our time saving gates are galvanized for long life.
This frame will be useful for those who are using electric fencing frequently.
You can place the portable gate in the middle of a temporary electric fence and use it as a strainer to fix the wire to.
So, when finished grazing the field you simply take the wires off and pick the gate up with a forklift or loader and move to the next field.
